International Investment forum in Luxembourg.

The group of companies GLENIC took part in the work of International Investment forum in Luxembourg in the period from 23 to 24 September.

The 17th annual International investment forum organized by Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI) and The National Investment Company Service Association (NICSA) took place in Luxembourg in the period from 23-24 September. The group of the companies GLENIC first time took part in the work of the forum. The head of the group Mr. Shmakov A.V. and executive director of the group Mr. Tekhnikov Y.V. took part in negotiations which took place in the new Palace of Congresses. The informational stand of the Group was presented in the lobby of the Palace; it presented the main fields of the companies’ activities.

The work of the section “Mutual funds – reservation and remuneration of investors’ capital in Russia” attracted much interest from visitors of the forum. Partner of the company Deloitte – CIS Mr. Ganin A.V. was the moderator of the section. Members of the forum were very much interested in the speech of the deputy of the State Duma Lukianova K.A., who told about the goals and perspectives of the work in the field of improvement of regulation of tax legislation providing the future development of financial markets in Russia.

During the forum Shmakov A.V. and Tekhnikov Y.V. met with Minister of economy and foreign trade of Luxembourg Mr. Kreke and with head of branch of Ministry of foreign trade and economy of Luxembourg Mr. Knebeler. They discussed terms of the future development of Russian and Luxembourg business cooperation. There were also conducted negotiations with representatives of the great Luxembourg and international financial companies.
